Have you ever think about doing sports betting full time? Not just for fun, but really treating it like a job, keeping track of your bets, managing your bankroll, studying the games and all that stuff.

If yes, what would you do to make it work? Or maybe you think it’s not really possible to live off betting for long?

A lot of people dream about it, but only few actually make it happen. What do you think?

I never considered making sports betting my full-time hobby, which you used to bring me money, because I think the idea is a bit naive. After all, sooner or later we all become responsible for our families and children, and they can't rely on such an unstable source of income as sports betting.
I can win for months, and then just up and gamble away everything, and in the end, the family is left with nothing, and that can't be allowed.

Despite betting on sports for fun, I still do most of the things that you've mentioned here ^{[especially the research part for the games that I plan to bet on]}, but I would never consider it as a full-time job, since I prefer the assurance that I have with my IRL job about receiving a fixed or a certain amount based on my performances at the end of a month, as opposed to something that could turn out to be nothing.

It’s true, I don’t think any family can live harmoniously if their needs are supported by gambling winnings. It is extremely difficult to win in the long run, everything depends heavily on luck, and skill only serves to slightly improve the odds. So it is wiser to never rely on gambling at all. If there were gamblers who consistently won in the long term, I think many casinos would go bankrupt.

But it is just not reality to think that you can bet every day as a job.

You need a separate income to allow you to do that kind of thing
