Social media is free for anyone to use, and there's no prohibition against them spreading misleading information about Bitcoin because anyone can access it. Those of us who understand Bitcoin's history certainly know what they're talking about, and their goal is likely nothing more than gaining fame through misguided means. This is common behavior on social media platforms; sometimes, bad things are intentionally created for a specific purpose.
Honestly, nowadays anyone can pretend to be a crypto expert on social media but half of them have never read the Bitcoin whitepaper. They just follow the mantra FUD sells. Whenever the price of Bitcoin goes up new rumors suddenly spread that ordinary people will panic and sell. But, I think Bitcoin has come back stronger after every such false propaganda. So, I believe that the best weapon against FUD is education and actually verify the sources.
However the price of Bitcoin has currently dumped a lot. It has dropped to about $104k. I think this is the time to apply your actual knowledge.
