Everyone may be gambling, but what they both received at last may differs because they aren't doing the same thing in gambling, how each one of us gambler are not the same, despite we all appear to be gamblers.

To become a rich fellow is not just a day dream, it takes efforts and requires more consistent commitment to doing what will always ensures we are being rich, the difference is there, a rich man will often plan well before and after, knowing well the consequences of whatever decision taken by him, do they mostly play their games with extreme caution and are being logical as well, just for things to fall in place for them after gambling, they also lose, but the risk taken by them are mostly affordable.

We shouldn't generalize that all wealthy people are not addicted or addicted. Why? Because every wealthy person has their own story. What I mean is that the reason wealthy people don't become addicted is because they realize that accumulating a lot of money isn't easy if they started from the bottom or were pioneers. Perhaps wealthy people who started as heirs are more likely to become addicted because they never knew what it was like to struggle from the bottom.

So, in this context, there are also those who become addicted even though they started from the bottom with limited finances.

That is a solid point. The mindset really plays a big role here. Most rich people do not see gambling as a means to get rich, they see it as just a game or entertainment. They already have money, so they are not emotionally attached to the outcome like the average person who is hoping to change their life with one lucky win.

The average gambler often goes in with desperation or the thought of hitting it big, and that is where addiction comes in.

If they're truly looking for business partners, it will provide them with a positive cash flow. They're likely even willing to give in and lose a couple thousand dollars to potential partners. I've never thought about it, but it's certainly possible. Moreover, the wealthy are better at managing risk, because in their businesses, risk is a necessary skill that allows them to compete, bet on growth, and spot promising future directions. Of course, there are other wealthy players who inherited money, so they could lose everything and have no understanding of risk at all, but they're few in number compared to the rest of the wealthy.

I think the rich easily get addicted because they have the money to gamble anytime they want and they gamble with big amounts of money cause they know that one time win will cover up what they have lost, status don't gamble it is the person who games so I agree if they can't stop or watch it then  they can become addicted their money won't stop them.

Just the same as the poor, some poor people have a good mentality just like the rich folks do. but no matter how hard the poor try to think like the real rich people they may not likely get it accurately reason been that they don't have all it takes to make it work.

For example a rich gambler can loss a huge amount of money to gamble and just pretend as if nothing happened, but the poor once they loss a huge amount of money to gamble they don't easily let go instead they will be trying to chase after the lost because the money is way too much for them to let go.

The rich are more careful in doing business because they are afraid of turning poor after experiencing the freedom and power money can give. They don't take too much risk and they try not to allow fear stop them either. So there is a balance in how they approach business but the difference is that they manage their resources such that they don't lose everything. This is the reason gambling is supposed to be done as a business in which risk management if given its proper place.

rich people mentality is different from poor people's mentality I've had this so many times but I want to correct a little impression on this, do you know that sometimes not all the rich people that have a good mentality or good thinking, likewise the poor people not all of them have a good mentality, so what I was expecting from us is that the rich people do take risk more than the poor people because they have a financial backup if they lose, why the Poor does not have a financial backup if they lose, so these are the two different things between the rich people and the poor people, they will have to  different concept, the rich people likes risk taking why some of the poor also likes risks taking.

These words are very true, being a rich person is not something that you only possess materially but it is a social and mental status that is not acquired but is born with, that it's why many people lose everything at gambling because they never plan.

It takes a lot to become successful in life—determination, discipline, etc.—which is also one thing that some gamblers need to emulate. It's not just all about planning; you can be a great planner and not be a determined person, and you will fail to adhere to your own plans. The rich gets addicted easily but they know how to control their addiction but they have the money to sponsor their new way of life. Since they are rich, they are not actually going to steal or do funny things in order to fund their lifestyle. But for the poor, the reason addiction is eminent or can't be hidden in them is because, they are already in lack f the resources to sustain the lifestyle addiction offered them. So, they will resort to immoral acts to fund their new lifestyle, alternatively they will get depressed.

So, it is fine to conclude that addiction is actually meant for the rich. Be it drug, gambling or others.

My opinion is that there are people of all classes who gamble, only the rich, i.e. the upper class, can recover faster, while the lower class has a very difficult time recovering.

The lower class will have a difficult time recovering or making huge profits because of their size of bets. They might not afford to gamble with big capital because they don't have it and this makes a huge difference in gambling. For you to be making huge profits without gambling too much or paying games often, you will need to have a big portfolio that will help you to gamble with big funds without any panic.

There is a big difference in mindset and perspective between a rich gambler and a poor gambler. The mindset and perspective that a poor gambler will have when participating in gambling will be different from the mindset and perspective of a rich gambler. A wealthy gambler's main goal in participating in gambling may be to pass the time or to seek out different forms of entertainment, whereas a poor gambler's main goal in participating in gambling will be to make money. A rich gambler does not suffer a mental breakdown even if he loses money by participating in gambling, especially since money is not a problem for him. But for a poor gambler, the situation is completely different because he works hard to manage his budget and if he loses that money, he becomes very mentally disturbed.
