Hello everyone,

I am writing this post as a formal complaint about 22Bet and 20Bet, two online casinos that have seriously violated player protection laws and caused me huge financial and emotional damage.

I am a self-excluded player in Germany, officially registered in the OASIS system due to gambling addiction. Despite this, both casinos targeted me with promotional and VIP offers — even after I was excluded. These offers triggered my addiction again and caused me to lose control.

In total, I lost more than €25,000 on these platforms.
Both casinos operate illegally in Germany without a German license. They never performed any KYC verification and allowed me to deposit and lose money even though I was self-excluded.

When I tried to contact them and request my transaction history, they completely ignored all of my emails. Soon after, they blocked my account so that I can no longer access it or see how much I actually lost.

Their so-called “VIP managers” encouraged me to deposit more money by promising bonuses and special treatment — clear psychological manipulation of an addicted player.

I believe both 22Bet and 20Bet violated responsible gambling regulations and intentionally exploited my addiction for profit. I am now seeking to recover my funds and report their behavior to the proper authorities.

If anyone has experience with refund requests, chargebacks, or regulatory complaints against these casinos, please share advice or contact details.

Thank you for reading and for any help.

Hello Mamba97,

The problem is that being self-excluded and registered in the Oasis System won't help you with such fraudsters like 22bet or 20bet where they operate without a valid license from the german GGL regulatory body.
I'm sorry but there's nothing to be done unless you already informed the operator previously about your gambling disorder and in a way they neglected the information letting you gamble further without restricting your betting ability.

Sorry to read about your experience. What these casinos have done is not only unethical but also clearly illegal, and it's devastating that they preyed on individuals who are taking active steps to protect themselves through self-exclusion.

Some steps you can take are filing a complaint to regulators, initiate a chargeback, or take a legal action while seeking support from gambling support organizations in Germany.

Stay strong and document everything. I hope other people may learn from your experience.
