[Warning] defiweb3.xyz is a phishing website that pretends to be part of amlbot!

What happened:
As soon as I noticed the so-called official platform ^{[on the last part of the ANN thread]} had nothing to do with the official website of AMLbot, I knew it had to be fake... Basically, it's a plagiarized version of the "Crypto Scam Recovery page of AMLBot", but they've moved around some of the parts to appear a little bit different and the main part for being a phishing website is the following section of their contact form/report my case/create account pages that asks for a seed phrase!

AMLBot had previously warned about these fake platforms impersonating their service in the article [Don’t Get Tricked by Fake AMLBot Platforms: Protect Your Crypto from Scammers], where they stated that:

AMLBot will never ask you to connect your wallet, request access to your wallet, or ask you to send funds to an external address.

And this indicates that any platform that asks for such suspicious things from any user should be considered a 100% scam platform..

It is the responsibility of every member to conduct their own research and verify first before trusting, as there are now many scammers posting in the Service Announcements section, promoting phishing services and websites as if they were legitimate platforms.

Thank you for making this information known to the community. This would help keep us abreast of any further attempt by this malicious website to steal our information if encountered.  These days scammers can go to any extent just to impersonate real websites just to steal information which they could use to undo their victims.

This calls for more carefulness and cautiousness whenever we visit any website, it requires we do our own research so we don't fall victim of scam sites that are out to steal information to undo us. A proper research be done whenever we encounter any of such so we so not get scammed and also do not recommend websites to anyone when you have not conducted a thorough research on it so they do not fall victim to scammers.
