Do people still use trust wallet?

To be honest, I have been using it myself since 2019 but have not had any complications or problems so far. Many people are aware of self-custody wallets but in terms of usability, I think Trust Wallet is ahead. Many crypto users in Nigeria are still using Trust Wallet because they care more about ease of use than security, now it seems that there should be an understanding of the real problems of Trust Wallet.

However, as far as I know, there has been no major changes in Trust Wallet, meaning it is running as before, i.e. it has not gotten too bad or too good.

I will agree with you, because my first knowledge on crypto generally per storage or wallet is trust wallet, even some shitcoin and altcoin I mined then which has no value neither listed are still in my trust wallet, I don't experience complications on then ,I will believe is as result of those coins not having value, beginners who have lesser asset and those whose knowledge is not yet verse to handle self custodian wallet will not go for it because it will be difficult for them besides it's not as easy as trust wallet. One thing I know about the usage of the trust wallet it's very simple for beginners with lesser holding, as they go for it more than those who is full of knowledge and various assets whose option is best on self custodian wallet.

Many people still use Trust Wallet, it is a multi wallet, which is why most people still use this wallet. On the Play Store, we can see that its rating is very good and it has been downloaded 50 million plus, so it is a popular wallet, although not many people use it now. But newbies always use this wallet, I also used to have it once and I still have it on my smartphone, but I don't use it. Basically, it takes a lot of fees to make strong transactions and transactions from Trust Wallet, which is why experienced people don't use this wallet. And if you have the keys to any of your wallets, then you can easily see your balance with Trust Wallet, since it is a multi wallet, most newbies use it.

Trust wallet was one of the most common used wallet by Nigerians, this fact is based on the people around me because most people i know make use of the wallet. I stop using trust wallet because of the slow transaction process both in deposit and withdraw. But recently I sent some amount of bitcoin in my trust wallet address, but all through i deposited into the address, btc did not reflect in my trust wallet but I could only see my balance and the btc which I deposited after imported my seed phrase in an electron wallet. This made me to wonder if people still make use of trust wallet because it has gotten so bad and not what it used to be before now. Wallet like this shouldn't be recommended for beginners because it is not transparent for beginners.

Well, me I no think say anything serious don change about Trust Wallet, even though e don tey wey I use am last. If something strange don happen to the wallet, we for don see news or at least people for don complain or talk about some changes that happen. But are you sure say you import your seed phrase well when you dey import the wallet? Because if you make mistake while importing, e fit show you view only wallet. You go see your money for inside, but you no go fit touch am or get access to am.

However, one thing wey I notice about Trust Wallet be say one guy wey I know recently get some dollars wey he wan sell, and he ask me to guide him on how to send am go exchange. The surprising part be say dem no request for any gas fee before he fit send out the coin like before. I no know if una don see that kind thing before, but the thing surprised me.

BlueWallet is a fully open source wallet, just like Electrum only that Electrum can be more customized like setting up cold storage, bluewallet is more friendly compared to Electrum. I can only refer what i have used or have a good relatable idea about.

Among Electrum, BlueWallet and Trust Wallet, if i am to list them out of choices, it goes just how i ranked them above, focusing on their safety and privacy before easy to use nature. You can test the wallet by depositing small dust.

That is true sha I can teste with small amount but for me currently I don't think there is any need to do that for now because I am already comfortable with the wallet I am currently using that switching from wallets to wallets, most times one could end up misplacing their funds at the point of trying to figure out the best wallet to use.
However, since you have already given your rating towards the wallet I can now be sure that someone from my LB has also used the wallet or currently using it perform their transaction, I have stick with Electrum for long so I have to remain all less there is any problem there before I could think of changing it that any other wallets.
