I read somewhere that Satoshi share the Bitcoin full node software, but nobody start mining from genesis block so he did it himself. So it's possible he mined so much block, because almost nobody else did mining in early days. CMIIW.

Going back to the topic at hand, I wonder if there's people who professionally hunt down long-forgotten BTC stashes; specifically offline stashes. Like if there's a market for old computers. If there was, I imagine that they'd start with storage units, goodwill stores, flea markets, garage sales etc. in areas like Silicon Valley. Probably the San Fernando Valley as well as that's supposedly one of the places where Satoshi's real IP address was leaked.
Anywhere likely to have had a big population of geeks in the last 20 years.
