Does time actually affects you more than the money you uses to gamble?

For me, I don't have enough funds to keep gambling like others but whenever I have to spare i wouldn't mind using it to gamble just catch the thrill in gambling. Now I will want to know about you, what affects you much or hinds you from gambling?

I think mine is the money I use, it’s not that I don’t have money that I can use to gamble but the moment the one I allocated is exhausted I tend to call it a quit even if it’s on a weekend when I’m free most of the time.

So for me, time really isn’t a big deal to me I am most focused on the money I spend, if I don’t mind the way I introduce money into my account I’ll end up making a huge mistake which I am going to regret for a very long time.

It’s not just about having spare cash, because there are times when I have spare and still don’t use it.

We can create time for anything we so much desire to do, so long it's to our best interests. Gambling is something I do when I'm stressed mentally either from business or family. I just go to any length and see that I'm able to relax my mind and just enjoy the moment. The time isn't the problem, it's mostly the funds to gamble for many. Sometimes out of fear of losing too much money we avoid gambling because we might have already made plans to use the money for. For me, gambling isn't something so important that it needs to be planned or made part of my routine. I do not have a budget set apart for gambling because I feel that money should be spent on more useful and certain things. If I do gamble, it's usually only when I have a little extra money, money that won't interfere with my basic needs.

The same is with time. I never purposely dedicate time just for gambling. I do it when I have actual free time, like over weekends or when no work is coming in. For me, it should not take away from valuable time that is supposed to be productive, rest, or even with the family. Yeah, no doubt about that. I'd say, if you have no money - you have no time for gambling. You should use all your time to make some money instead. There people that borrow money and gamble in that situation, but we all know that's stupid, right? They hope to make money through gambling, but more often than not they just end up with debts.

Personally, I'm influenced by both funds and time. Work practically takes up most of my day, so my time is limited. What I manage to earn by working rightfully, I use to support my family, as everyone else does. I only use the extra income to gamble, and always with a weekly limit.
I prefer to place bets for a matter of time, I take relatively little time before placing a bet and then I wait for the result of the matches and when I can I even watch them.
Since I adopted this strategy of having a weekly cap it has helped me a lot, in fact until now, after years, I have managed to never go broke and keep the bankroll constant, it happens that I go below, if I have time and want to play slot machines, if I finish the bankroll I play the demo version (just to relax)

IMO, no matter how busy someone is, they'll always have free time. No matter how much work you do, you'll always have time off to rest. In those moments, you can take at least a few minutes to gamble if you have the money you can afford to lose.

Time is certainly a constraint, but it depends on how you manage it. I'm quite busy, but I find time at least once a week to gamble and take a break for at least half an hour for entertainment and to try my luck. For me, time isn't a constraint, as gambling doesn't require hours.

A gambler must be able to adapt to the situation, treat gambling as entertainment, not as a source of income or focus solely on profit, spending almost all of your time gambling when that time could be used for other more productive things, especially if your gambling budget has run out, don't force yourself to continue, it will only force your mind to look for other sources of money to gamble with, don't do that if you don't want your life to fall apart.

It is very clear that gambling activities carried out wildly will make life very messy, make rules for yourself and maintain discipline. Great words, mate, I totally agree with what you said. And from my own experience I know that although I can limit my losses money wise, regarding time it's another question. In the early days I used to spend many hours each day playing poker free rolls on various sites. Now when I think of it - it's laughable. Sometimes the prize pool was just $10, and when you win the tournament with 500+ participants you are rewarded with $3 after 3 hours of playing, and yet I was doing again and again.

Those who plays on free sites or with free coins, may lose time more than the money. But those who play with real money and with good amount of money are not able compare the money with the time. But who lost jobs/business for the gambling may consider time fact and there is still I am on the same point of money.

Time is priceless and at such it should be maintained abruptly, time affects every areas and cut across our dealings. If gambling is time consuming then one should minimize their indulgence in it, because the time we spent in gambling is equivalent to the money we spend in gambling if a real check is done we'll understand that.It's safe to spare some time gambling provided you're less busy but one should be time cautious cause for some person's they can spend their whole time gambling.

I even know how half of the gamblers will answer this question and how the remaining half will answer.
You can divide all gamblers into young and old. Young gamblers are, for example, those under 22. They'll answer that they have plenty of time, but absolutely no money. And, really, where would they get the money? After all, they're probably still studying.

Gamblers over 22, as a rule, have already started earning money through work. After all, they've found their place in life, and they'll say they probably don't have time for gambling, but they have enough money.
