Elon faced a huge backlash against his main money maker Tesla and was probably told behind closed doors to STFU because it was terrible for business. He stuck his oar into government and it brought nothing but bad things for him, plus Trump got to blame him for lack of any action in the end. Elon became less relevant after this whole charade but he still wields a lot of power as the owner of X/Twitter. He is still babbling and repeating incoherent crap on that platform so there's no difference there really. He is trying to position Grok as an alternative to Wikipedia, but it's a useless pile of trash that is tweaked to stroke his ego. He has plenty of other things going on right now which is probably why he's not giving any attention to crypto. When he's not doing all this, he's probably drugged up out of his mind.
To be fair he was the one who went against all sides, and that is never a good deal. When he first started, it was a eco-friendly car manufacturer, and that is based on democrats, because democrats gets that type of car, even Alexandria OCasio cortez, most famous progressive legislature in the USA, ended up buying a tesla, because it was a leftist statement, a democrats car, that is good for the world.
Then, Elon came out as right wing guy, and supported Trump, and spent nearly 300 million, which is a way of saying he is not going to be left wingers guy anymore. So that means, he could only grow if he could sell cars to right wings, and left wings won't buy his car anymore. So when he went against trump as well, he put left and right both against him, and nobody would buy from him in that case. Which is why he backtracked and supports Trump again, so he can sell to right wingers again.
