I'm fascinated by this video game.
The amount of exploration you could do, not to mention the seamless transition between flying from a planet and going into space, is a full immersion.
And oh, if you've got VR headsets, this one supports them too.

The game did have a bad launch. It had too much hype, but the devs (Hello Games) did not deliver on those promises. That was in 2016.
Through the years, the devs tried their very best to make up to those who bought the game and gave their entire player base updates after updates for free. A truckload of updates, contents, DLCs, all free.

Fast forward to today, and it has been the most fun space-themed video game with lots of ways for anybody to play.
You can be a typical explorer, collect materials, jump to the next planet, explore to find a perfect paradise planet, and set up bases on land or underwater.
You can manage settlements, become their Mayor, help them rebuild, and defend them against attackers such as pirates and sentinels.
You can farm, collect pets and ride them, collect and grow flora, and collect or build spaceships. Spaceships, which they have now added ship customization with ship interiors.
You can jump in space, spacewalk on your corvette-type spaceship, and walk through a blackhole.
You can be a space pirate. Annoy sentinels (AI-Police), and rack up your reputation.
You can be a captain of a massive freighter, manage your frigates, and have your own space armada.
Play with your friends, fly/build a spaceship with them, discover new worlds like gas giants, an anomalous planet, water planets with very deep oceans, and fight big freaking monsters.

The game basically lets you do whatever the F you want. You are not tied to a long story (although there is one), you can do and go pretty much everywhere.

So far, I have only 180+ hours on this game on Steam, and I still enjoy playing it every now and then.

I've only stuck to Rockstar's stuff as their open world games are immaculate and the only space themed game I played was KOTOR

Previously, the most fun feature of Starfield was, of course, its ship building. Well, now No Man's Sky has that too; a full ship-building feature was dropped in the latest update, Voyagers (and it's free too- well, all updates are free).

Haha, the last part about the "free" got me spitting out my water.
You already got me sold on the base building on ocean floors, that seamless transition out of the planet to space? That's top tier immersion!

Have fun playing it. Actually, now is the right time to be playing since NMS just got updated again, bringing back the past expeditions.

What's an expedition?

The Expedition is a short-term adventure away from your main save, during which you unlock cool stuff that you can then "redeem" or pickup or whatever on your main save.
So you create an Expedition save, and you'll have a series of objectives, organized into phases. You can do these in any order you wish, and completing each provides you with some rewards, which are typically helpful/needed for other objectives.
The rewards for fully completing each phase are then able to be collected back on your main save, through the Quicksilver merchant on the Anomaly.
The Expeditions are usually pretty short - I think the longest was ~16hours. It's a nice little diversion. I'd recommend that you give it a shot.

Hello Games does this yearly, wherein at the end of each year, they bring back the previous expeditions so new players can run them through.

Yes. For PC, I've played Skyrim and Starfield. I've tried fallout but only the one for mobile/android, Fallout Shelter, it's a fun little game.

Yes. For PC, I've played Skyrim and Starfield. I've tried fallout but only the one for mobile/android, Fallout Shelter, it's a fun little game.

Well, it's nothing fancy. Hell, it's not even supposed to be a gaming pc lol. It's an old probook with an Intel core i3, Intel HD graphics 520, 8 gigs of ram.

It does run some decent stuff on steam, got a ps4 back home though but I'm far from there right now. Fallout Shelter brings back memories. I got tired of it though but I still come back to it funnily enough.
Oh and I stumbled on this game, "Sky: children of the light" that's another one that's got me hooked!

I think the cpu and onboard gpu can't handle the game, so best to just play on your PS4. It runs smoothly on that platform.
I've tried playing it on PS4 (haven't upgraded to PS5 yet) several times but since I like playing on PC and prefer keyboard to a controller, I rarely use my old PS4.

Yes, cross platform, you can use the same account for pc and mobile device.

I wanted to play AC Shadows because ubisoft bought back the old classic style gameplay. I didn't liked the gameplay style of origin or valhalla. As for GoT, I have already finished playing it, and next eagerly waiting for Ghost of Yotei...
