Yesterday, I saw in a report that scammers are using “rn” instead of “m” to copy the real domain of Microsoft. You may have noticed that in most fonts, “rn” looks almost like “m” when seen together. That is why many people assume that it is microsoft.com when they see the email address
noreply@rnicrosoft.com. The report says that fake notifications are being sent to people in the name of password reset or account verification.
To me, the whole thing is typosquatting. Where scams are going on by exploiting the typing mistakes of ordinary people like us. And we have to be careful. We should refrain from clicking on links in a hurry during busy times. Because the report also says that those who are busy or less careful are clicking on the links.
