So Ive been dabbling in bitcoin & crypto for about 6+ months but still find myself new to a lot of aspects of it.  Below are a couple questions to help clarify what these terms mean, I appreciate any help & insight?

What is a fork (for mining purposes, not eating purposes), and why does it happen?

What does FUD stand for? (Ive come to conclusion FUD is spreading rumors of some sort, just cant figure out the acronym)
