unable to withdraw bitcoins from bitstamp

I initiated a withdrawal of 1.25 bitcoins from bitstamp last night.  This morning when I checked my account I found that the withdrawal was supposedly successful (although none were delivered to my wallet) but it was followed by a supposed deposit for the same amount a short time later. 

So fortunately nothing was lost but I wasn't able to withdraw my bitcoins.  I opened a ticket with them this morning but no word yet. 

Has anyone else had this happen?

I guess no one else has had this problem.  I never heard back from bitstamp either.  I guess I'll try the withdrawal again and see what happens. ..

The second attempt went through.  It's still disconcerting that there was no explanation why the first was reversed.  But I'll let it slide this time.  Hopefully this isn't another gox in the making.
