Looking for people to collaborate on a new Altcoin...

Hello, I am a programmer by trade and have been studying how to properly build and configure a Litecoin clone for a few months now. I can compile and customize the coin and I can setup and maintain the public nodes.

I am interested in finding a small group of people with different talents to put together an new Altcoin. Mostly for edification and fun but if it makes a money that's good too.

Anyway...

I would like to find others that are interested in collaborating with me in this project:

I would like to put together a team of a few people and start the process. I can put a coin together and have it ready reasonably quickly once we decide the initial parameters for the coin but I think we should have the website and mining pools and all our ducks in a row before it is released.

Also we would need to decide the parameters for the coin and if we would pre-mine or not assuming not all of us have mining equipment and we would probably like to get at least a few coins for our efforts but these things we can decide as a team.

Off the top of my head we would need the following services from contributors that joined the group:

1) Building a website and preparing content.
2) Building other wallets to run on smart phones and/or tablets
3) Setting up DNS Seeders.
4) Setting up mining pools.
5) Marketing of the coin to get users and people interested in mining the coin.
6) Getting listed on exchanges
7) Assistance in customizing the coin software.
There are probably other things that may be needed that are not listed above so if you have suggestions by all means suggest.


If you would like to be a part of building a new coin I encourage you to contact me and I look forward to finding others that want to collaborate on such a project.

For me it has been a great learning experience already an I look forward to learning a lot more.

Hi Spoetnik I can build a coin and have done so but there is a lot of work to be done in addition to building the coin. To properly do it a team is required and that is why I am here. Also I enjoy combining my abilities with others in order to make something better than I could by myself. I am very good at programming but I am not good or don't have this interest in marketing, pr, web development, web content and all the other aspects of putting a coin together. None of the current coins are maintained by one person alone. In addition I don't want to put all the effort that is required and then have my coin flop. I would rather build it with a team so that we create a coin that has a lot more chance of success as it was created from the input of various people.  I have a few responses already from people that are interested on other sites and one here on this site. You seem to be a very energetic person by what I can tell from seeing your participation in this site. You are certainly welcome to participate in this coin and help build a coin that has all the features that you see lacking in the other coins.  Yes there will be this coin and others. what you want in reality is bs.. a promotion team and guys to do coding work for you.
people who promote coins are 99% of the time sleazy scammers.

we don't need more idiots hired to post garbage online like one well known "for hire" hobo we all know well lol
or countless others i know that make a living off of hyping coins as they put it themselves..

I'm curious... Why do you think alt coins are scams? Have you been burned by someone selling alt coins or have you developed an altcoin yourself and failed at it? 

Also why so much pent up rage and anger at someone you don't even know? For that matter you seem to be mad at everyone. Who hurt you spoetnik?
