cash out pre-paid cards

i have several pre-paid cards with several thousand bucks on each of them. i have just been spending the funds as i need it but i want to cash out and dump the money in mutual funds. my problem is i'm not sure how to get the funds off the cards. i can't buy money order/cashier checks with plastic. western union wants $200 to send money from plastic to bank account. can't add money to paypal from plastic. ATM is only $200-500 a day depending which card i use. was wondering if anybody has any ideas how to get 2-3K off a pre-paid card all at once.

You cant use them at ATM, 500 per day each?

If not, I could have you pay some bills for me, for cash, but I would not be able to take it all at once as you want.

Maybe buy btc with skrill, load skrill with the cards, and cash out the btc to your bank account using coinbase?

Be careful doing this with anyone that you don't trust 100% - they could pay the bill, but later claim their card was used fraudulently.

amazon payments sounds interesting. only problem is she mentions a $1000 monthly limit. i'm gonna look in to that and google wallet. thanks for the tips. please let me know if you guys have any other ideas. i do alot of BTC > MP trades on the forum and i need a good way to cash out large amounts.

Let me know how the Amazon works. You could conceivable use your Amazon account for some cards that equal about 1k, then wifes for another 1k worth, etc.

amazon/google charges 2.9% so even though it would be inconvenient ATM would be better. i suspect i would also have a problem funneling large amounts through the account. they would probably lock me down like paypal.

I think you can upload money in skrill though prepaid card, so try that option.

skrill also charges 2.9% and they are not licensed to do business in my state.

But you can buy Bitcoin through Skrill and then covert Bitcoins to fiat. easiest way.

i'm selling BTC for MP, it would be counter productive to buy more BTC.
