WTF??

Referencing order #6439. With a 10% drop in price while my order is processing, the least you could do is refund shipping charges.
The best you could do is refund the difference. Throw in a Blizzard... Ridiculous.

Excellent new price though.

doesn;t this stuff suck - someone is always caught, but the unit was way overpriced anyway compared to everything else available.

And in your opinion, what else is available at a better price point?

I looked at that for about .2 seconds

Definitely agree it is priced less per Mh/s but doesn't fit my scenario here very well.

Power consumption is insane, the device is huge and it screams like a banshee. I can fix the noise issue with replacement fans, but there are a lot better things I'd rather be doing with a kilowatt (920W to be precise) of electricity.

I actually sleep in the same room as some of my miners. Pretty sure these silverfish will be a nice small power efficient addition to my collection. I've heard they're noisy with the stock fans, but I have some replacements coming which most likely will show up before the miners do.

I have data center space and free electric....

Silver fish is a good price.  but I keep getting the gridseed blades.   I just purchased 2 more  from zoomhash.

with coupons 2 for 890 usd   .

if you use a platinum psu they use under 90 watts for 5mh.

if you swap the fan for a noctua 92 mm they run cool and they are quiet.

at 445 a gridseed I am happy. once these come I get some more.

Thanks Smiley ,  but I went to the link and

the price is 3296 for 8 plus shipping  must pay in btc.

the price is 866 for 2 plus shipping must pay in btc.

on zoomhash I paid 889 for 2  with shipping included  used paypal  and I will get 2% back in a promo from paypal.

so my net was 872 including shipping   with paypal's safety net I get 45 day protection for doa.

So for my purchasing level zoomhash is  still the winner.  Both price and safety wise.

I know it seems like a commercial for them but it is simple facts no extra back door deals.

here is a shot of the miners on wemineltc.     and I have tracking for my 9th and 10th ones.

Ordered 6/29, Received 7/3

Miner was very well packaged. Double boxed and securely packed with foam.

Haven't check power at the wall yet, but estimate 450-500 watts.

Hash rate varies by pool, not necessarily the miner... on some of the smaller pools, the device fluctuates between 24-28Mh/s on the bigger faster pools performance is more steady.

The fan is loud. Despite the pictures posted depicting 2 stacked 80mm fans, mine arrived with a single high rpm 120mm which is not excessively loud, but certainly in the 50-55db range.

First impression is that the cooling solution can be improved, so I'll be working to quiet it down. There's a picture showing the silver fish along side a S1 from Bitmain.

Very pleased with the device's performance.

Software support is limited. There is no Linux software that I'm aware of to interface with this device. I don't use windows unless absolutely necessary, so my solution was to run the SFminer software
from within a WIN7 image on Virtualbox which seems to do just fine.

Another excellent transaction with Zoomhash. Thanks Michael!

EDIT: After some further investigation, I discovered the SFminer software uses UDP ports 49168 and 49169 to communicate with the miners. Initially I had these ports blocked. After unblocking the ports, the SFminer software runs fine using WINE on Lubuntu 14.04.
