I'm writing a paper I plan to give to my CS friends about bitcoin (and blockchains in general) and how it solves previously unsolved problems (because I suck at explaining things verbally). I have a good understanding of how namecoin works and feel I did pretty well on that section, but when I got to scripts and smart contracts, I hit a wall at where *my* understanding ends. (Well, that and I don't feel I could explain scripts as well as the wiki link I provided. But I'll admit, smart contracts are pretty much above my head.) I'd really appreciate suggestions:
