There is a tool called Pywallet that you could try. I am not sure if it can find Multibit wallet files because I think it's only meant to find Bitcoin Core wallets. Another option is Findwallet.
I suggest you take a look at Recover Bitcoin from any old storage format. There is a lot of valuable information there.

I just re-visit https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet and https://github.com/KingZee/findwallet, but it's clear both tools only meant to find wallet file generated by Bitcoin Core.

I suggest you take a look at Recover Bitcoin from any old storage format. There is a lot of valuable information there.

Good suggestion, although i would recommend OP to make RAW copy of his hard drive first. There's possibility his MultiBit wallet file was deleted and could be overwritten if he accidentally do something that perform write on the hard drive.

To OP and other reader, i recommend you to write RAW copy of your hard drive using tool such as HDD Raw Copy Tool. Make sure you keep the copy on different storage drive.

You need to first create a copy of that hard drive to avoid crashes and ensure data recovery. If you are sure that you did not delete the wallet file, you could just search for any *.dat files.
If you renamed the wallet, Findwallet is a good option -----> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5071775.0
If it was deleted, you can use Pywallet (at this point it is better to ask a specialized team[1] if you are sure you have Bitcoin)

The older Multibit wallets use the .wallet extension, so you can use specialized software to recover deleted files from your hard drive, such as Disk Drill, Recuva, TestDisk, among others. These programs are very useful for finding and recovering deleted files, including those related to Bitcoin wallets.

When searching for Bitcoin wallet files, you can look for the following common extensions: ".dat", ".wallet", ".aes". These extensions are usually associated with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency files, use software that allows you to search by extensions. Unfortunately, PyWallet doesn't specifically search for these extensions, it only looks for bytes that might belong to wallets. However, this can often result in false positives if you're searching the entire disk.
