sorry for delayed response. my advert got lost in the shuffle with other threads. it's probably better to PM me. I can flash BFL devices remotely, but that is hinged on the fact that the other person has the appropriate tools to program. it's hard to guess with Jalapenos. There are so many different variations of the device that have been made by BFL. ultimately chip quality is the deciding factor. the best measuring stick to determine if your device is a candidate for an upgrade is to map out the engines each processor has.

What do i need for a remote jaly upgrade?

My LS stopped working last week and I was going to just retire it after its 6 months of service. But, saw this thread and thought I'd post this situation and see if anyone had any ideas about how to get it working again. The light is off and unlike any other time it slowed down/stopped due to power outages, now it flat out won't work period. Or, perhaps someone might want to buy it and take a crack at it. PM me if you're interested or have any advice.
