Taugeran,

I'm very interested.  Sent you a PM about maybe doing a full vacuum pack production run.

Any news?

I figured it would help settle some nerves to see working product, so a minuscule prototype board order was placed yesterday. Eta on boards is ~may 14.

Most likely no major news in that time frame

From experimenting and a Voltcraft 3000 power logger

R1 chips do 32~37W at the wall with a 5.6k resitor(12 chips/board) 30~35 gh/s
R1 chips do 27~31W at the wall with a 3.9k resitor(12 chips/board) 29~32 gh/s

R2 chips do 29~31W at the wall with a 3.9k resitor(12 chips/board) 29~30 gh/s
R2 chips do 39~47W at the wall with a 3.9k resitor(16 chips/board) 37~40 gh/s - never kept i going as it will damage the powerbuck
R2 chips do 30~35W at the wall with a 2.7k resitor(16 chips/board) 32~35 gh/s - current setup

Just my 2 cents Smiley

that can't be correct - by all accounts the R2 chips are presumably about 15% more efficient, so i thought you would see more like 32-35GH

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Could be i didnt give BFG alot of time to stabilise.

But there is some odd behaviour with R2 chips, R1 chips would go from 30W or so to about 10W when you turn BFG off but R2 chips would go from 30W to just 20...25, i dont think BFG knows to shut down all the cores.

Chainminer doesnt even turn them off.
