Hallo zusammen,


einer meiner Avalon (Batch 2 - 4 Module) hat heute morgen friedlich und unerwartet seine Dienste eingestellt.  Cry

Also konkret läuft der cgminer nicht mehr. - Habe den Avalon jetzt mal rebootet, hilft aber nicht.

Die Lüfter laufen ebenfalls überhaupt nicht und die LED leuchten dauerhaft (Orange & Rot).
Ausserdem auch keine Temperatur-Anzeige.

Jemand eine Idee wo ich mit der Fehlersuche anfangen darf?

Du könntest versuchen, die Module rauszunehmen, um zu sehen, ob vielleicht eines davon fehlerhaft ist und zum Abbruch führt.

So, ich habe dann mal den Avalon aus dem Serverraum rausgepult ...

Erste Diagnose: Netzteil tot auf der 12 Volt-Schiene.

Neues NT verbaut und die Kiste mal ordendlich gereinigt.  Wink

Eingeschaltet und ... Feuer & Qualm  Shocked

Also alles vom Saft getrennt und die zarte Flamme ausgepustet.

Auf einem der Boards hat sich ein Teil verabschiedet.
Anbei einige Fotos vom "Burning Board" ...










Die Frage ist jetzt halt wie weiter bzw. ist da überhaupt noch was zu retten?  Huh Huh Huh

So habe die Kiste wieder zusammen geschraubt, ohne das "Burning Board".  Grin

Reconfiguriert und läuft. Zwar nur noch mit 3/4 Leistung, aber besser als ein Briefbeschwerer.  Wink

Repariert hier jemand die eigentlichen Boards?
