Hey guys,

With the difficulty on the rise I'm starting to look into the future of my at home mining farm, and what the enthusiast mining community will look like 6 months or a year from now.  I'm thinking mining companies will start to shift into shipping blades and parts and we will see mining rigs much more customized in the future.  The margins will get really thin, and these companies won't be able to ship giant boxes with psu's and metal cases.

My question is, is there anyone who has put together a controller board and power distribution system that could potentially support any type of board?  I would be interested to hear some people's thoughts on this topic.  Ideally in the future, I'd like to have an array of 20nm boards, and then when the die shrink and comes out, slowly replace them.  Mining, in terms of ROI, is probably going to turn into a much longer term game, with the mining network growing at a snails pace in comparison to what its doing today.

Thoughts?
