My electric rates.

Well, I live in a small town in Northwest Ohio, the electricity prices are down-right low compared to others. They may even be dropping a bit lower with the solar panel array installation happening soon  . Anyways, onto the numbers.

There's 2 price sets: Residential and Business (Commercial)

But in summary,

Residential:
Monthly service charge   $6.25
Monthly outside surcharge
(if applicable)   $3.75

Monthly usage charge   
1 to 500 kW hours   $0.085
over 500 kW hours   $0.072

Monthly outside surcharge
(if applicable)   $12.50

Monthly usage charge   
1 to 5,000 kW hours   $0.095
5,001 to 10,000 kW hours   $0.082
over 10,000 kW hours   $0.048
*Add $20.00 per kW of demand over 50 kW
Minimum monthly charge   
1-phase   $10.00
3-phase   $30.00
combined 2- & 3-phase   $40.00

I think the math was that after 64ish megawatts, the price of commercial per watt was equal to that of residential.
There also is a 1 cent (for now), cost of generation.
I live in a small housing complex, but there are plenty of commercial lots for rent/lease around here. I, also, have a great amount of IT know-how.

Yes. Generation fees + state taxes create the less than 10 cent average for residential.

I do have a friend with a house instead of an apartment that gets similar rates. He has an attached garage that we could put the any extra machines. He also does have a solar panel array that isn't quite setup that would help reduce electricity costs [only maybe a 1 kW system). He just recently setup a security system via cameras and he works from home.
Also, another thing -- he owns a couple of guns, so good luck thieves.
