Bitcoin Wallet problem

Hello,

I have transferred some bitcoins to my Bitcoin Wallet software address, but they just wouldn't show up there. It's there shown in the blockexplorer.com, transaction was successful,
but it wouldn't show up in my wallet. For more than a month now. My money just hanging there. Did a stupid thing, transferred a decent amount without testing it out first.
Please HELP!!
