Daily News for the Cryptominer...

Hashreport.net has feeds from many different Bitcoin news outlets, as well as links to mainstream news and Bitcoin/Altcoin-related community sites.

About HashReport:

HashReport was originally a side project while I completed my MA in Communication. As my thesis was about communities that arise from 'procedural' systems (games, virtual worlds, and Bitcoin/Altcoins) there was quite a bit to keep track of.

While completing my thesis and finishing my last semester, I developed those links and information-sources into http://hashreport.net, a 'Drudge'-style website that attempts to centralize many of those information sources and community sites into a one-page format.

The Bitcoin/Altcoin community is a wild place, full of diverse people from all parts of the world and from all walks of life. The community is what has pushed Bitcoin from the obscure back-alleys of the Internet towards a mainstream phenomenon.

Many people say that Bitcoin is going to change the world, but that's not quite true. The community will change the world, and Bitcoin will be one of the tools with which they do it.

HashReport is here to watch it happen.

Community/individual web pages with ongoing content feel free to email using the advertising link on the page.

Also, Bitcon/Altcoin charity sites, email me (or PM me here). I'm more than happy to list charity sites.

Bitcoiners need to know where to find places to spend their BTC, so I've added links to Bitcoin directories coinmap.org, bitscan.com, and bitcorati.com.

Still trying to compile a list of cryptocurrency charities/charitable actions. PM me or email me through the site.

I've updated the format/style of the website, the drudge-style is gone and in its place is a more modern and open style.

I've got a much nicer new logo too Wink

I now have 3 sections on the website besides the first page - "Philanthropy," "Use," and "Community."

'Philanthropy' has links to various charities, organizations, or other efforts with digital currencies.

'Use' has links to finding and spending bitcoins - Coinbase and Localbitcoins, exchanges like cryptsy, links to bitcoin-accepting businesses.

'Community' has links to community/discussion sites.  I've got links to the three webshows that I know of, links to this forum, another forum, the bigger facebook and google+ pages, bitcoin/digital currency blogs, etc.

Each page is laid out in an animated three-column fashion, with animated filtering based on type/content of each page.

Check it out at http://hashreport.net

If you or your organization want to be listed, use the contact page on the website.
