I went to do a small 3 BTC transaction for the exact amount i had in the wallet, when i tried it said it wanted a 0.0005 BTC fee or something along those lines, what?

So i moved a few more 0.2 BTC over tot he wallet just to send that 3.0BTC and any other transaction, after it confirmed i sent the 3.0 / 3.20 balance and it didn't take any of the 0.20, what?

Whats up with that.

EDIT: This is probably in the wrong section.

There's some randomness in the amount of fee that will be required.

I guess by the time that 0.20 transfered and became valid the fee disappeared.

thanks for the assurance i wasn't sure what was going on.
