Hello Muller84,

Buy and sell orders are simply the act of placing an instruction to buy or sell a given quality at a given price.

Market order is when you buy or sell at the best available price. Your order will always fill providing that there are existing buy/sell orders.

Limit order is when you specify how much you want to buy/sell your coins at. It will only fill when the market meets that price.

You can do these functions at all exchanges.

If you are new to trading, you need to stay with limit order and stay away from market order.

I dunno, limit orders can be just as risky as they can be filled with momentum so you end up with money or coin when the market is heading in an unfavourable direction.

I would advise to the OP that they observe what happens on exchanges and use bitcoinwisdom (or some similar charting website) to become more familiar with market depth.
