waiting for Beyond: Two Souls and The Last Of Us, it was fun just watching all the actors "acting the story", both games are motion captured

I used to play a lot more when hanging out at a gaming club..and some good stuff like
Counter Strike, Half Life 2, Quake III, Unreal Tournament, Doom, Duke Nuken, Hellgate London, Diablo 2, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit / Underground / Most Wanted, hm and more can't seem to remember them all.

Oh the good 'ol days. I used to be a beast in CS:Source and TF2 back in the day. I remember when Hellgate London came out during my freshman year in college and we had a Dorm party for it, with all of us on the same server.

I've actually gotten back into the Half Life series of late. Played through Black Mesa Source, Half Life 2, and working through all the episodes now ..damn I can't wait until HL:3

Mm, good old days. I won a tournament in CS  and lots of monies.
Half Life is sooo fun, HL3 should me a lot of fun...and better graphics.

The PS3 and the WiiU are really great consoles. I like the Bioshock series, I really think the story is incredible, and i like Skyrim too. I'm a little disappointed that the PS4 doesn't have backwards compatibility though.

Nethack's pretty awesome. It was open-source, so there are a bunch of different modifications to it out there... some give it elaborate GUIs for the "modern gamer" - I think one's even 3D and adds sounds. I've always stuck with SLASH'EM, though -- I was a late entrant to Nethack. Nethack consumes virtually 0 resources... great for tablets and whatnot.
