How are you defining 2.0? Many of the coins you have listed are older than Mintcoin.

In addition to Mint, I recommend adding DRK and FLT Wink

Also, CureCoin is really, really interesting- I might call it a 3.0 coin though.

2.0 is a definition for a coin that is NOT a copy-paste job of bitcoin. Changing some variable or adding new algo is not enough Wink

Cure will be added maybe!

In that case, please consider adding Fluttercoin too. It created an entirely new reward system: Proof-of-Transaction.

Announcement: I will move from the spreadsheet and I will publish my analysis on a website with detailed analysis reports. The spreadsheet gets too clutterd.

TwinWinNerD, thanks for the analysis, this is pure gold  Grin EDIT: I wonder if it would be good to make a list of all "2nd gen IPO" scams up so far and tie in all the relevant information so that people can learn from it? Also, the threads with those scams usually get deleted from Bitcointalk so we no longer have the information on them..

Hmm.

I don't think it is neccessary. Basically all scams had 2 things in common: No escrow and/or didn't show any code snipets.

So, only invest with escrow (a legit dev will never mind) and ask for parts of the code!

Skycoin is worth a look. Skycoin is a next gen coin aimed at proof of contribution for mesh networking and distributed storage. An alpha client is already available for download. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=380441.0 , repository and whitepapers are at https://github.com/skycoin .

Thanks for putting this spreadsheet and analysis together, great job!
