Is Bitcoin the biggest distributed computing project yet?

So Wikipedia says that the computing power of Folding@Home is of ~7.87 petaFLOPS, while Bitcoin's power is at ~10.16 petaFLOPS, according to Bitcoin Watch. Any idea how accurate these numbers are?

According to ArtForz:

usually published FLOPS numbers are simply intops * 2 (one muladd counts as 2 operations).

Not sure how reliable that is.

Anyway, if the Bitcoin Watch number proves somewhat accurate we could use it along with the soon to come BTC/EUR parity for a press round on the usual places (Hacker News, Reddit)
