btcnearme.com appears to be down, I wonder if the site op is on the forum. It is Mark Suppes, who hasn't updated his blog since the site came online. It seems like recently there has been an all-out assault by the banksters and their bought-and-paid-for regulators against Bitcoin exchange (along with curiously coincidental timing of hackings), I wonder if this site is another such casualty?

More than likely, but not in the way some might think. When it comes to upsetting the monetary system that enslaves us, the Feds use more covert tactics. They use their agents to create 'mishaps' in the lives of the people who create alternative currency systems, making it harder for them to run their sites. I myself have been the subject of such attacks when I was more involved in silver as a private currency.

I'm grumpy!!
