Just received the following email and thought I would share. I broke up the URL provided so that it doesn't get accidentally clicked because it's probably something nefarious.

It amazes me as to why they don't pen a more personal introductory letter, for most are able to read through their ruses upon reading similar copies (above). At the very least, a well-crafted letter would increase their click-through rate.

Hell, if I were a scammer I would link to a Twitter page already set up having a shitload of followers (if paid for, it wouldn't be very much) announcing that ONLY 9 lucky recipients outta ONLY a thousand emailed will be entitled to such-and-such. Of course, in reality, 100K+ emails would be sent and no prizes awarded, while the dude formally living in his van down by the river increases his wealth off the backs of those who work for a living. (damn, that last sentence sounds like some coiners here trying to advance their wares)
