Hello everybody,

This my first post ever here, so I hope that it goes well.

I am trying to get Bytecoin to function on my PC. Everytime I try to launch the Bytecoind (daemon) it won't synchronize and I get this message in the commandprompt:

[P2P3] Error c:\projects\sorrybigbro\contrib\epee\include\net\abstract_tcp_server2.inl:736 Exception ar [boosted_tcp_server2.inl:736 Exception at [boosted_tcp_server<t_protocol_handler>::connect], what=socket_select_interrupter: A connection attempt failed because the connected party didn't properly respond after a period of time.

What is the problem? Can anyone help? I've heard a couple of posts here talking about problems with Bytecoin. Is it still up?
