so, when people talks about 750kh/s for each one, it's because they have 1+ cards?  Huh

yes

Quote
Hashrates rarely go above 720 with a single card.  That's actually pretty good, most single cards run 680s-710s, sometimes lower.  You need more cards to get full speed on all of them.

You're wrong Smiley

This is my config: -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --gpu-engine 1070 --gpu-memclock 1500 --thread-concurrency 8191

Tnx! Smiley

I'm not wrong, I said rarely.  Referring to windows.  On Linux it's easier.

I've got one 280x VaporX running in my desktop. Spent nearly 4 hours tweaking!!

-I 13 -g 2 -w 384 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8191 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1085 --gpu-memclock 1500 --temp-target 71 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 20-69 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-cutoff 95

Fan spins at 3000rpm, and is barely audible over other fans in case (Zalman Z11 with side sitting slightly off)

I noticed an increase in Work Utility when changing -w to 384 from 256. (Maybe because of number of bits of card?)

1085 is perfect clock speed for me, and thread concurrency at 8191, not 8192!

755kh/s when left alone. 730kh/s whilst browsing the internet, and using PC normally.

I recently got the Sapphire Card mentioned here in this thread ( Dual-X OC ) If my PC is left alone [not surfing] 710-720 kh/s using a single card on mobo [no riser] win 7 64 and 8gb ram. My mobo is old I wont even bother rmentioning it, its literally 8+ yrs old.

My .conf:

"expiry" : "120",
"failover-only" : true,
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin",
"log" : "1",
"queue" : "3",
"scan-time" : "60",
"scrypt" : true,
"shares" : "0",
"auto-fan" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-engine" : "1035",
"gpu-fan" : "0-85",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"gpu-memdiff" : "0",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-vddc" : "1.230",
"intensity" : "13",
"temp-target" : "72",
"temp-overheat" : "80",
"temp-cutoff" : "84",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "0",
"shaders" : "0",
"thread-concurrency" : "11207",
"no-pool-disable" : true
}

This brings me to my next question ( Same card related ).. I am currently running Catalyst Version 13.10.

I see now there is a 13.12 and a 14.XXbeta out. Has any one tried these Drivers, and if so.. what are you're results?

Please do specify if single card or multi-card set ups, as this may have an impact.

I am DL'ing 13.12 now... and if I see any differences worth mentioning, I will add to this thread.

EDIT BELOW:

I installed 13.12 ( saw no differences ), and now am on Beta and if anything I see higher WU but hash rate is same ( it may just be the varidiff of the stratum I'm on )

use your original config, but with karloths cgminer, and set tc to 1892, push up clock to 1040, mem to 1495, ull get >750kh for sure.
my 280x trixx goes 760 kh with that config.

cheers
