I see nothing but good reviews for them, I assume the catch is making sure you live in an area where there is high speed coverage. Just check their coverage maps. Good news is even if the whole nation isn't 4G on Republic Wireless, they still have lower speed service and cell service in most of the country anyway, so you don't have to worry about being stranded on a road trip or something without service. Also because of the WiFi phone service you can really use it internationally for a lot less than other networks with huge roaming fees etc.

Yah they are one of the best out there for sure, and honestly I think that their problem is that they just don't get enough recognition at how competitive they really are which isn't a bad thing to be their top complaint at all, the adjustable plan option depending on how much data you use as well is a bonus and besides Ting don't know any other company that allows you to change your monthly plan depending on if you need it or not basically you can customize it for when you need more or less data XD

And yah it looks like it is a coverage that may be an issue but there were a few other services that cover it more.
At least it shifts into another network though if you need it so I believe it autocovers it.

There is also another provider called Ting haven't tried them myself but they might work if Republic is not in your coverage area

The neat thing about Ting is that they have a unique pricing model: you can bring your own Sprint-network phone (some people pick them up on eBay), or buy one directly from them. Then you use talk, text, and data as you see fit and they automatically adjust your plan based on a bucket system with six sizes: Small through XXL. You can add additional phones at $6 per month each and share the same pools.

And as if that wasn’t enough flexibility, you can also jump between any of these plans freely, up to twice each month.

You can read up more on them here

You can use the Sprint Network so it will likely cover your area that said you will need to look at the map to make sure.

Hope it helps
