Hello folks, could someone suggest a site that is SAFE where I could deposit U.S. currency and purchase BTC, Litecoin, Doge, etc?  With the ability to export my coins to keep them safe or a place like Blockchain, etc?  Thank you!!

If you're from US:
- use Coinbase
if you're outside US:
- use btc-e

- deposit USD
- Trade BTC/USD

If you want to buy dogecoin, litecoin ... etc
- mintpal or bittrx
- deposit some btc
- trade any cryptocoin for btc

You could buy BTC on coinbase or localbitcoins and then deposit it in to Poloniex to buy altcoins. It seems to be a pretty good site. Most people are finding them to be the best altcoin exchange so far.
