Hello, It goes to show that doing a few things at once is not always a good thing.

Yesterday I actually put a proxy in bit coin core when it was suppose to go somewhere else. Now I can't get the core to open. It keeps popping up that the proxy is wrong and then I click ok and it goes away as well as the program.

I am using a Macbook Pro and I have went into files and deleted all I saw but there still remains the proxy info because after everything is deleted, even program, I can only get it to display where the directory I want t put the program then the proxy error shows up and nothing will open.

I am not too computer davy but I know enough to get out of sticky situations. I actually know too much about windows from having to fix them all the time, hence me having a mac. Now by this stupid error I did I can't get the program that I need to run Armory to work. This was my first attempt into the bit coin world and researched a bit but just a novice.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well I fixed my issue after hours of work. I don't know how I did it. lol

I went and downloaded bootstrap.dat torrent file and then put it into the contents package of Bitcoin core and it started right up with the right proxies. Go figure huh. lol

Well I guess I posted this about 20 min too soon. Sorry for the wasted forum space. Cheers
