Suggestion: dot-bit bitcoin address

Why not use Namecoin's blockchain to point to a bitcoin-addresses?

E.g. I own MYNAME.bit and point it to my bitcoin address. Wallets can implement this.
Even better if i can register SOMETHING@MYNAME.bit. This way remembering and keeping track of bitcoin addresses becomes as easy as using email.

This sounds like a good idea to me, but only if you do not wish to be anonymous.
But I think your public key is generated from a hashed input, if I recall correctly. That may be the reason why.

The "dot-bit address" could be associated with a stealth address.

White papers proposing anonymous public keys have already been published previously, adding something like this to that would be great.
