So I have 4 rockminer r-box that I have setup on a raspberry pi, but only 3 of them are mining. How do I get this 4th one to start? For all the other ones, after I setup the raspberry pi I just plugged in the r-box, and within a few seconds it would start mining. Now with this one, I dont know what to do. I can tell you for sure that 4 are detected.

Another question is, is it common for miners to just stop mining for a couple seconds at a time? I was watching them mine today, and I noticed that every little bit they would all stop mining for a few seconds.

Post in my setup thread. The more threads that get posted on the same topic, the less likely you are to get an answer.
