Why Qora was killed with NXT comparison.

I firmly believe that Qora is the biggest news on this forum for a long time but it hasn't ignited interest cause some members of Qora tried to to suggest BCNext was the developer. Instead of helping Qora it actually killed it.


Qora in many ways is superior to NXT on nearly all levels so quit the comparison Qora users and let's look at this coin as something fresh and new not the same old NXT thing. Once the Source code is released I think people will know then it's a completely different system to NXT. Then the price will rocket.

Why do you state as a fact NXT is better. Sure it's further down the line of refining but at it's core I can say Qora is better.

Transactions are quicker.
Forging is quicker.
Don't use http servers.
Qora is more secure because it has the long address system, NXT is simpler address but less secure.
Recoverable wallets


These are just a few examples. I believe once anominity and the asset exchange is done most will see it's simply better. NXT has first move advantage but why compare them anyway of they aren't a clone?


That's why I am saying comparing it to NXT and saying BCNext is the developer actually holds the coin back from shining as it deserves.

I think that's changing. people were holding back cause the developer was planning on doing the marketing stuff after development, not sure the stakeholders were lazy, just waiting on the developer. recently that's changed and now the community is organising properly. NXT was a particularly strong community though, not entirely fair to compare. Maybe it was too good, no one needs 10 wallet options!

Don't you see that you just crying all day long? You are disappointed that Qora didn't make you rich because people are not interested it. I was very interested in Qora because it has really nice features but the community sucks so hard because of people like you. Promoting never works by degrading other people or in this case other cryptos. I will invest a larger amount in Qora when I see that the community stops crying and actually start making Qora more popular by building a website, doing giveaways and writing fair articles about it. But this won't probably happen in the near future because you're just moaning that people don't invest in Qora.

I agree - Qora is better in core, but better product does not automatically wins as have been seen several times. Lets see at the end of 2014 if Qora will success in adoption, marketing, popularity e.g. like Nxt quite did in half a year.
Btw. Nxt and Qora are the only coins I hold

Two things govern price.

Movement makes movement, What I mean is once a coin is popular it feeds others to jump aboard, this is almost always started from an initial hype gimmick, like cpu mining, country coins, anominity, etc. The rise is rapid, but tends not to last. I do not look down on these coins but..

The other way is innovation. Look at the top 10 coins, they nearly always have some form of innovation that people put long term bets on the fact they will rise. often there is low vol for these coins cause they are more buy and holds.


I'm not discussing getting rich, I'm interested in cryptocurrencies, I'm already rich from Bitcoin thanks for asking.
