Latest Tech analysis for BTC (sorry no LTC or NMC today). Because of their frequency they capture recent price action. You can view them at https://dirkk.imgur.com/

NEW! Part 1 of Designing Trading Systems is now available. Either go to https://dirkk.imgur.com/ or direct http://snk.to/f-ct9yxql9

Also today there is an analysis on SILVER XAGUSD in the section 'Charts Today'

I am an occasional crypto trader so I have skin-in-the-game. I may favour one over the other in commentary but the bias is purely technical and not personal.

Enjoy and Happy Trading!

Hi segeln (and other fine folk),
Self learner in TA around the dot com period.

Liked it so much that I studied it formally. Gave up my day job about 5 years ago. Have been trading currencies and such but currencies have become difficult to trade. With central banks in major economies setting overnight rates at zero percent, currencies are just floating ships without direction. After all - currencies are an interest-rate-game.

So I added crypto to my portfolio. Head above water and doing okay.

I will keep posting crypto analysis at my imgur site as long as crypto stays interesting.

Thanks for looking at the site and your PM - much appreciated.

And thanks to all the people that send me emails and PM's asking about more detail in analysis. I answer them all and it keeps my interest up.

Happy Trading!

Dear segeln,
>So i will add your TA to the other TA

I feel privileged. Thank you very much.

The only link people need is https://dirkk.imgur.com/

Updates occur at least once every 5-7 days and more often if the market is moving.

I'm not sure the humor in the analysis - particularly LTC will be understood by a non-english speaking culture too well. :-)

Best wishes and cheers

Since i want to link only experienced TA,it  was the reason I asked for your TA experience, To many TA-noobs are posting here, though I understand the enthusiasm for TA.
Is it possible to do the Charts in a bright Setting instead of dark?
I find, the bright Setting is more readable, especially fine lines, i.e.Fibonacci Levels
Best wishes
segeln

Edit: why don´t you use Tradingview which is very popular here and you can expose your Charts directly in yor post here in the Forum ?
It is more convenient than to go to the link opening a new tab and switch from here to there vice versa.
Cheers

Hi segeln,
>why don´t you use Tradingview
I used it a little but didn't really like it. I don't know why because it is far superior to bitcoinwisdom - perhaps I should take another look

>expose your Charts directly in your post here in the Forum ?
I have a wider audience than just this forum. Also I need traceability to my trade calls - there are interested parties

I found the current imgur system solves the issue of 'private' and 'public' parties.

But I thank you for your suggestion and reasoning in relation to Tradingview. I will take another look

Kind regards,
Dirk K.

Dear dirrk,
I am looking every day at your site.Bur you are right, only if the market is moving updates are necessary.
Thanks for your friendly answer to my last post.
Tradingview is worthwhile another look at.
Kind regards
segeln
