Turn new $25 Mozilla phone into a Trezor type wallet?

With Mozilla wanting to push a cheap smart phone at a $25 price tag. It only makes sense that someone turns this into a hardware wallet similar to Trezor. Is this easily possible and how would the community feel about owning them?

What could go wrong with keeping mission-critical keys on a device that's capable of transmitting data without the need for a physical connection 
Apart from that I don't hear very good things about those operating systems on the phones, so it may still be of some use to people using it as a wallet.
