We don't know who developed most alt coins.. Just a anonymous DEV on almost every coin..?

With Ripple we know there is a team (https://www.ripplelabs.com/team/)

And they have a lot of investors (https://www.ripplelabs.com/investors/)

I think it can be a good investing.. But it's always a bet..
