i doubt it.  your cpu is so slow comapred to asics running shoes.

5000 CPUs are small, maybe $1.50 per day.

Anyway, it can't be prevented but you can watch sites for excessive CPU usage and then avoid those sites. Perhaps your anti-virus will block the sites.
