hello fellow community,

By the end of this month our operational site is set to go live. with this requests pending release of our white listings program will be accepted into the beta program. As previously stated the most power of what happens from btcpd.com side will come from the community.

I'll give a brief description of the white listings program.

White listings will consist of four different tiers of investigation, bronze, silver, gold and platinum. bronze being free and all other being paid for(please note all fees will go towards the cost of the level of investigation, any monetary gains will then go to operations and at the quarter we will release all monetary gains to charity of the communities desire. and as previously state all keys and fiat ledgers will be public.)

Step one: company applies for investigation(paid or not)
Step two: we perform investigation, make reports and grade company
Step three: if passing, we will issue a widget to the company and apply points depending on how well they scored. at the same a forum page will be created that is linked to this widget. reports will be made public and the community may review the company to add or subtract points which will in turn upgrade or downgrade their status(bronze, silver, ect).

the purpose of this program is to ensure the legitimacy of companies, as well as provide feedback based on users previous experiences to help ensure that companies are more forthcoming about stability and resolution of issues.

What I am asking from the community is for what you want for the investigations. issues you might foresee and solutions. what you find unappealing about this project and what you would do to change it.

We already have ideas about how the investigations should be ran(e.g. platinum level requires an on site visit to verify system redundancy and security as well as briefs on company financial stability and plans.) but more ideas are interesting.

please keep it reasonable, the idea behind the different levels are: bronze - free(allows verification of company legitimacy, nothing else is verified.) silver - $250(ball park but not officially set, allows a more in depth investigation which can include the possibility of purchasing products to review quality. review of ledgers and past history) gold - $1000(still ballpark and not officially set, will include purchasing products to review quality anonymously multiple times, anonymous contact to review customer service quality) Platinum - varies greatly depending on location and company(all out investigation, requires on site meeting, will visually inspect systems for redundancy and proper security protocols, review of financial stability and future plans)

additions, subtractions, price ideas and what goes where. the community has the microphone, lets hear it!

similar to that, but with way less advertisements... plus the services offered in there are much like what we are going to include in the bronze(free) package.

also, in case people were wondering. you may review the upcoming website here:

I do ask that you refrain from making any accounts or submitting any forums, should they work they will just be an annoyance and be deleted. it is very generic right now since its in development.
