Pftsshhhh stop hating, it's fun and connects people together across the globe. If only Obama would do it then challenge Putin too and they can try and 1-up each other, I think stuff like this helps motivate peace.

Andreas should do it and challenge Ben Lawsky to afterwards.

am i talking to a 10 yrs old?

you know what, Kim Jong Ill can do that ice bucket challenge to cheer your hope up and nuke your fcking family the next day. Does that make you smile in "heaven" ?

A better challenge would be, destroy your own nukes and challenge your opposing party to do the same. Obama, go first.

I like you. We're friends now.

And yeah, this ice bucket bullshit is almost as bad as the "walk to stop cancer/aids/whatever". Walking doesn't stop anything. Money for medical research does.

For people doing this dumb shit in California:

For everyone else:

I agree with the nuke thing, but we both know that won't happen. Ice Bucket MAY be dumb but this is exactly what we need for *MAINSTREAM* adoption.

You're right, maybe I should've never made it, I should just sit at home in the dark watching the difficulty and price tickers, as well as sifting through the altcoins released hourly.

the icebucket challenge is only 50% of the challenge. the other 50% is donating funds to ALS charity. so i do hope anyone that does the challenge does actually donate, rather then do it just for the entertainment.

i think thats the point a few are trying to make is that most see it as an excuse to make a youtube video to say they are part of something, but never really understand the purpose or even get involved with the financial element.

and that is why a MEME or 'nomination' challenge wont do much for bitcoin as it wont really get past the 2 minute attention span to really get people thinking about it in detail.

put it this way, many have seen someone do this icebucket challenge. but can all of you tell me what ALS stands for, can al of you tel me the symptoms the person with the condition would have. can all of you tell me the life expectancy of those with it. can all of you tell me the amount donated from the video participants you watched donated to the charity. or the total received this year.

but bet none of you can tell me all of this information without now having to google it, after i asked the question.

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at
