AMD 7950 performance with sgminer nist5

I'm getting a consistent 3.7 MHs with sgminer 4.1   I've heard of folks getting 3 times that performance.  Is that true?   Should I be using a different version of sgminer?   Thanks!

I get about 9MH/s, with core frequency = 920MHz, memory=1250MHz. I also use Sg4.1. You need use Catalyst 14.6.
