Greetings!

I'm a new user, and I'm glad that I've finally signed up (After lurking for a year).

I also hope that I won't get in anyone's way!

I'm glad this website exists, and I can't wait to discuss more about the world of cryptos.

Does anyone have any tips for what I should go check out first?

You've been lurking for a year and don't know what to check out?  LOL.

What exactly are you looking to check out that you haven't been able to find in your year's time here?  I'd be glad to point you in the right direction.

Jonny's Pool - Mine with us and help us grow!  Support a pool that supports Bitcoin, not a hardware manufacturer's pockets!  No SPV cheats.  No empty blocks.

My story. I was reading this forum on and off I guess for more than 6 months before actually signing up which I am glad I did. I am here to learn and to share.

There isn't many rules or guidelines to go by so just look at some of the sticky topics littered through the forum.

Yes it's a good choice!
They are the most popular and the most trusted sites so you need to try them first!

Welcome! Good luck. The forums are usually friendly to newbies as long as you post in the right sections you can ask away whatever is in your heart. Smiley

You could start with the bitcoin wiki (https://bitcoin.it/) and the Multibit FAQ (https://multibit.org/faq.html) to get some basic understanding of bitcoin; and you could read the bitcoin white paper (https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf) for more in-depth information. Smiley
