On Wednesday last week the number of listening hosts on this version went from 900->200 over the course of a day or so.

Now it seems to have jumped back up!

There was a blip on the server on Saturday so ignore that valley.

Anyone got any ideas?

There is botnet running 0.3.x version of Bitcoin, but the Bitcoin itself must be running trough Tor. Don't know if it is the botnet or something else.
