Watch this http://mea.business/

Yesterday Riccardo said that he will make a big announcement for Monero. Everyone became really excited and XMR started going up. But it only was a troll to get his point out there that the ICO scamming must stop and that we the community must stop investing in them.

He risked ruining XMR's price by making that move. I understand why he did it but is that fair to the cryptocoin traders? What assurance do we get that no one in the Monero team was shorting XMR before the announcement?

if that was his message, which I believe it was (in part), he could not have chosen a more monumentally stupid and short-sighted way to deliver it.

frankly, I don't think he realized the immediate impact it would have on XMR price, and now he's lazily attempting to cover by saying he taught people a lesson not to trust anyone in a trustless currency.

he is a cynical, wannabe cyberpunk ass, who I think now realizes that his mistake has negatively impacted a lot of people.

you can make a point without showing total contempt for people, let alone costing them money. what an asshole.

exactly.  someone said "you screwed over the average joe" and his response was "the average joe doesn't buy Monero"

out of touch fool.  despite this total piece of shit move, i don't think this was his intent, but the man needs to either step back and shut the fuck up, or behave responsibly.
